Punjab Government School Education Department (SED) is spearheading a revolutionary initiative named “Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services (GRADES)” with the aid of World Bank. The ambitious project aims at filling some basic gaps in Punjab’s education system by improving access to quality education and improved learning achievements of children at pre-primary to elementary level.

With a goal of raising rates of enrollment and reading proficiency in the early years, GRADES is an investment in Punjab’s human capital. To achieve these goals, SED invites applications from outstanding, experienced professionals for numerous positions in a variety of areas. This recruitment drive is looking for people who believe in education reform and can contribute to systemic change.

The School Education Department (SED) of the Government of Punjab is the primary organizational framework for administering public schools and implementing educational policy in the province. In collaboration with international agencies such as the World Bank, SED has initiated the GRADES project to address issues such as low school enrollment, gender imbalances, and learning achievement deficits. Decision-making on data, infrastructure, and capacity building are some of the support beams of the project focused on developing sustainable improvements in the education system of Punjab.
