The competition to develop advanced AI is heating up, with China now taking a clear lead. Recently, American billionaire Elon Musk introduced his latest AI model, Grok 3, calling it “faster than any Chinese AI, including Deep Seeker.” But China’s Manus has stolen the spotlight.
Developed by Manica, a subsidiary of Alibaba (rival to Deep Seeker’s creators), Manus is unique because it doesn’t wait for human instructions. Unlike earlier AI models, which needed step-by-step guidance, Manus acts independently. It can browse the internet, analyze investments, and handle complex jobs all at once. Experts say its speed and “thinking power” have stunned the AI industry.
